If you want a sharper, cleaner edge after stones, stropping with diamond compound is one of the most effective finishing steps. Diamond stropping compounds are commonly used to hone and polish the apex, improving refinement and push-cut performance while keeping the process quick and repeatable. USA-Market® Diamond Paste (2 ml) is designed for controlled, precise application onto your favorite strop materials—especially leather and balsa. Balsa strops loaded with diamond paste are widely used for ultra-fine edge finishing, and many sharpeners treat them as a “finishing pre-strop” before leather.

How to use (pro-style tips)

  1. Apply a very thin line (or a few tiny dots) along the stropping surface.

  2. Work it in by rubbing/spreading evenly.

  3. Strop with light pressure. Add more only when the strop feels “dry” or performance drops.
    Tip: Don’t overload—excess paste turns into “gunk” and gets messy.
