Californian San Mai CPM 15V
An ultra-premium San Mai billet engineered for makers seeking maximum wear resistance, extreme cutting aggression, and elite edge retention.
This handcrafted laminated construction combines a high-performance CPM 15V core produced by Crucible Industries (USA) with durable 440B stainless steel outer layers and nickel interlayers, creating an outstanding balance of cutting performance, structural stability, and premium aesthetics.
The CPM 15V core is heat treated to 63–64 HRC, delivering extremely high wear resistance, aggressive cutting ability, and superior edge longevity while maintaining reliable toughness for demanding applications.
Each billet undergoes an advanced two-stage cryogenic treatment in liquid nitrogen, improving carbide refinement, hardness stability, and long-term cutting performance.
